Letting go of impossible situations, and braving surrender to the Lord, is always best; yet I sometimes stammer in saying yes to His will and way. Nonetheless, His word assures He gives me a spirit of power and love – not fear or timidity. Because of Him, I can have a sound mind to boldly face any circumstance or calling. So, as I sat in the quiet of my home, the lyrics of an old hymn promptimg me to turn my eyes upon Jesus, was certainly divine timing. The Lord is forever reminding me nothing catches him off-guard – nothing! Sweet soul, His eyes are constantly looking over us, waiting for ways He can show Himself strong on our behalf. The light of His glory and grace are truly a marvelous thing.
