Faith That Moves

There is a simple, but profound, truth to hold onto – Jesus is moved by humilty and faith. Acknowledging your helplessness leads you to a place of reverent faith (because all your confidence is no longer in anyone other than Christ.) It is an unwavering, desperate faith that makes a person move toward the Savior with full abandon. Like the woman with the blood disease, or the Syrophonecian mother, seeing your desperate need for a Savior will lead you to seek His help, His healing – His power.
These two women, in humble faith, made their way to Jesus, and with resolute confidence in His divine power, surrendered to His authority and grace. They found the help (and serenity) they needed – we can too. With every passing year, the following words grow evermore true, “The pathway to peace is marked with faith and trust in Jesus Christ” (Words of Jesus for Women.) Broken and poured out faith moves the Savior, but it begins by moving you.
